As you can see from my resume, I started my retail career with a company that started it all, the F.W. Woolworth Co. This is where I learned the basics of management. From there I went to work for Wal-Mart, where I learned the economics of having a product and selling it at a price that a customer is willing to pay and maximizing the profit for the company. At Eckerd Drug, I learned that customer service and commitment plays an important role in business. At Public Storage, as a multi-store manager, I learned how to teach and guide others to work towards the company’s goals. These are the principles that I have used as Regional Manager for Cornerstone Management and Area Manager for Watson & Taylor Management.

As to why I believe I will make a good District/Area Manager----teamwork. I believe to reach a goal everyone must work together, use their individual strengths, work on their weaknesses, with the goal of improving the team and reaching the goal. This is what I have done during my career with great success.
