Self Storage Facility Looking for Manager

Facility Location: Bloomington, MN
Salary/Wage: $14+ an hour depending on experience, plus bonuses / commission based on occupancy

Bloomington MN: 800 units, new, state of the art retrofit. General Manager – This site / facility manager; will launch, lead and manage this large facility, will possess a strong business acumen, is customer service oriented, has an outgoing personality and great sales ability. You must be self motivated and show initiative in the workplace. The right candidate will have problem solving skills to overcome day to day challenges that will arise. A professional atmosphere must be maintained at all times. The Manager is responsible for ANY and ALL daily activities of running a dynamic and fast paced storage facility. Some of the major job aspects are: Marketing/Cold-Calling/Networking in surrounding area, Renting Units, Truck Rentals, Employee Scheduling, Money Handling, Computer Usage, Supervising/Delegating/Hands-On Maintenance and Upkeep of property, Dealing with Vendors, Daily Balancing and Closing of Books. Mandatory Job requirements include: Minimum 1 year SELF STORAGE MANAGEMENT experience and computer literate (We will train you on our windows based accounting software program). You MUST HAVE dependable transportation and provide proof of auto insurance and a valid driver's license. The proper Right To Work documents must also be provided. A full Background Check and Drug Testing are required. Sales/Marketing-Advertising/Retail/ back-ground a plus. $14+ an hour depending on experience, plus bonuses / commissions based on occupancy. This is a ground-up new facility and launch. There is plenty of autonomy, responsibility and opportunity. Also included is a Medical/Dental program and Two Weeks Paid PTO per year.
